Acer Palmatum 'Red Pygmy' Plants


Owner of the Elegant Gardening Society's famous Prize of Lawn Benefit (AGM), 'Red Pygmy' is by divine intention well-known. It makes a wonderful mound-shaped shrub, with reddish-purple seven-lobed results in that turn scarlet in fall. Like other Japoneses maples, it needs a partly tinted identify which is secured from freezing gusts of wind. The ground should be wet but well cleared. It is appropriate for increasing in a large package, using David Innes No 3 rich compost, but must be kept well properly watered.
