Acanthus Mollis Plant

This handsome perennial has deeply lobed, dark green, shiny leaves. In late summer, it bears white flowers with purple-shaded bracts on 90cm (3ft) purple-tinted spikes. It cuts a striking figure in the garden, adding form and structure to planting schemes.
